Want to teach your pup how to listen up?
Listen Up, Pup! is a Brooklyn-based dog training service that uses positive reinforcement methods to train our four-legged family members. It’s owned by me, Mary Cella, CPDT-KA. I believe training should be fun and that it’s the best way to strengthen your bond with your pet, so I’m committed to using force-free methods. My goals are to help create a shared language that you and your dog can use to communicate, to guide you through teaching your pup good manners, and to address even the most challenging behaviors with science-based training techniques and lots of compassion. I specialize in training young puppies and socializing them to our chaotic urban environment, and in training adolescent dogs who exhibit challenging behaviors, particularly outside in our, you guessed it, chaotic urban environment. If you have a new puppy or an angsty teen who’s increasingly difficult to walk on leash, I’m the trainer for you!
